We are not going to the mafia!

In the beginning of April, the Palestinian authorities applied to be part of several UN organizations, and Israeli authorities were chagrined. So of course, it was all talked out at the BBC Arabic.

One of the BBC Arabic anchors asked something like: why are you going to the UN when your peace plan partners say that move will derail everything?

And the Palestinian man shot back with style:

We are not going to the mafia or the taliban! We are going to the UN!

Amen!
