Did you know that sometimes the United States is portrayed positively in the Arabic news? This happened in the aftermath of the typhoon in the Philippines on the BBC Arabic. In fact, the entire west was portrayed pretty positively. It was a while back so I forgot most of the details, but I specifically remember American, Australian, and British efforts highlighted.
