Here are two nice things about Sweden.
First, there is a book on demography which is called "Demography" and which is considered to be a bible for demographers. This book was written Samuel Preston, and I think he is American. This page is included right at the start of his book:
Now everyone reading that book knows that in Sweden each person matters; they try to make sure they are counting every single soul when they do their census and population estimates.
This next piece comes from something called the System of National Accounts. Every country has to use it in order to track what their economies are producing. Sweden is listed first among the countries who helped give money to support this system, so I think that must mean that Sweden gave the most. That is nice. The US gave money, too.
