School discussion in Jordan

Today on the morning radio here in Amman (at least one of the stations), they were talking about education for girls. The man in charge of the show kept stressing to the callers, "I want to talk about girl students in particular."

The show had something to do with commitment to education. I think at one point someone said, "I've heard that the girls themselves don't really commit themselves to their studies."

Then they talked about cheating on exams. Another caller phoned in, he sounded like an expert. He said, "It is with great sorrow that I tell you cheating does exist on the exams, and students bring the answers in by slipping them into the lining of their jackets and shirts."
