Snow in the US

(January 22, 2014)

Are people in the Arab world interested in American weather? The BBC Arabic sure thinks so. Every time we have a snow storm and the federal government closes its buildings, the BBC Arabic is on it.

Here is some footage they ran from the latest round of snow:

 Interviewing a windswept lady!

They showed pictures of wrecked cars and pile-ups, and also the emergency responders battling the storm and coming to the rescue!

Despondent looking lady at an airport. They showed all the canceled flights.

I've never used an umbrella in a snow storm. I used to live here. Can you guess what city?

I hope that is not a stroller with a baby in it! I can't tell.

And of course they showed kids throwing snowballs.
