Girls and Technology in Saudi

This ran in April, 2013, so I don't remember all the details; but I think that Saudi Arabia had just opened the first university of technology and engineering in that country for girls. It's called Effat University, and is located in Jeddah.

I thought the pictures were cool.

This girl's name is Sumer Abd al-Aaty, and she is an engineering student at the University. 

This lady is the president of the University, Dr. Haifa Jamal al-Layl.
