Art updates August 2013

My artist friend just finished this painting of palm trees by the ocean! I think it's supposed to be of somewhere in the Middle East.

And she is working on this painting of flowers. I like the colors!

When she finishes this painting, she has another flower painting lined up to round out a whole quartet. When she's done with her flower paintings, she has a huge painting of the Iraqi marshes that she needs to finish. Her New Year's Resolution is to get all this done by December 31, Inshallah!

So these two paintings are two steps towards the resolution!

In the meantime, here is one of the flower paintings she has already finished. I think it is gorgeous!
